Last updated: February 14, 2026
This policy explains how Something Great Marketing (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and discloses personal information when you use https://kodiroku.com (the “site”), and your rights under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), any applicable provincial privacy laws, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect
- Information you give us through the quiz: your email address, your answers to the multiple-choice questions, and the fact and version of the consent you gave.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser/user-agent, and the page that referred you — used for security, preventing spam and basic troubleshooting.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Why we use it, and your consent
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Email you a general overview of the 2026 OAS, CPP and benefit changes you asked for | Your express consent (CASL) for commercial electronic messages |
| Keep a record of your consent (text, version, time) | Compliance — to demonstrate we obtained valid consent |
| Protect the site from spam and abuse (honeypot, rate-limiting, logs) | Our legitimate business interest, consistent with PIPEDA |
| Measure advertising and recommended-content performance | Your consent for the underlying cookies/pixels (set only after you accept) |
Commercial emails (CASL)
We only email you because you checked the consent box and gave us your address — that is your express consent under CASL. Every message identifies us, tells you why you are receiving it, and includes a working unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time by using that link or emailing [email protected]. We action unsubscribe requests promptly.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, for example:
- an email/CRM provider that delivers our emails and stores the mailing list;
- hosting and security providers that run the site;
- advertising and content-recommendation partners (for example Taboola and MediaGo) — only in connection with cookies/pixels you have consented to, and for measurement of their own placements.
Storage and cross-border processing
Your information may be stored or processed by our service providers outside your province or outside Canada (for example in the United States), where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards. You can contact us for more information about our practices.
How long we keep it
We keep quiz leads and consent records only as long as needed for the purpose above and to evidence consent — typically up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires longer. Security logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframes set out in applicable law.
If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or your provincial privacy regulator). We ask that you contact us first so we can try to put things right.
